About the author
I'm R. Michelle Webb — a single mom, a writer, and the heart behind Froggles. This story poured out of the deepest kind of love: love for my daughter, Emi, who inspired this story.
Froggles is about a little monster who feels different and broken. On a quest for happiness, he meets a little girl who helps him see that his differences are his magic. It's the message I want every child to carry: you are wanted, you are enough, and you belong.
The road tour
This school year, my children and I are buying a camper and taking Froggles on the road. We'll read at schools, homeschool co-ops, and libraries, sign books at coffee shops and bookshops, and meet families across the country. It's part adventure, part mission — and entirely a labor of love.
Every stop is a chance to share a story about kindness, and to raise dreams for children like Emi through A Million Dreams for Emi.
